Hex-Figs' take on the modified light freighter that carried the Mantis crew across the galaxy and brings the cozy, lived-in, patched-together craft to your shelf. At 1,336 pieces, the Stinger Mantis is our largest build in the first wave of Hex-Sets so far. Built by a fan, for fans!
The wings fold up just like they do in the games, and the footprint and folding mechanism were inspired by a design from dannyfordjohnson on Rebrickable; shout-out to him, and feel free to check out his page, though this is our own build, designed from scratch with no design files copied over.

We recommend sorting everything by color or type before you start. Grab a few bowls, put on something good, and treat it like mission prep. It takes a bit of extra time up front, but it makes the whole build smoother and honestly ends up being one of the most satisfying parts of the process.
